Like Crazy

I want you, I need you, I love you, I miss you like crazy.

That's the slogan of this great film I just saw. It was just what I needed. I could detox crying my eyes and heart out and I could get a look at London... The parliament houses and Camden. And the English countryside.

And it's about this impossible but intense love between Anna (the English girl) and Jacob (the American boy) that falls apart when she violates her student visa and then can't come back to L.A. and to Jacob...

[Spoiler alert]

They try hard in every way they can to be friends and then to be together again, then they start other relationships just to ruin the other people's lives. Then she eventually gets her situation with American immigration fixed and goes to L.A. And the film ends with them in the shower with thoughtful faces... The bottom line is that in the end we don't get to know if things worked out for them...

[Spoiler end]

Why is that? Why things have to be so complicated in relationships? Why geography complicates things so much? Why we have to over think things instead of just living them?

I just wish I could disappear. Or go somewhere to start over from scratch, where nobody knows me, where I can get to fall in love again with someone who wants the same things as me and will make me happy. And forget all about the last months so things can just go back to what they used to be and I won't worry about someone being busy at midnight and cry my eyes out because of that...
